Channel Partners
The Channel Partner program is designed for business partners who would like to resell Argus' PitBull solutions and services. There are three levels to the Channel Partner program:
-
Authorized Resellers are Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Systems Integrators (SIs) who will typically bundle PitBull with other products and services in order to deliver a complete solution to their customers. They are expected to provide first-level maintenance and support services for the PitBull products they sell. Partners in the VAR/SI category receive the full suite of channel partner benefits including larger discounts and co-op marketing funds.
-
Registered Resellers are entry-level channel partners. They are able to resell PitBull products but are not authorized to offer first-level maintenance and support services or configuration/integration assistance. Due to the lower commitment level of the registered reseller they receive only a limited set of partner benefits. Registered resellers typically purchase Argus products through Authorized Resellers and must rely upon a third party to provide product support services.
-
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners are typically hardware or software manufacturers that integrate PitBull technology with their own products and sell them in quantity through their sales channels. All PitBull-related marketing, support, and configuration services are provided by the OEM.
Alliance Partners
The Alliance Partner program is designed for business development partners who offer products or services that are complementary to Argus' line of PitBull products. Argus has defined three categories of Alliance Partners:
-
Strategic partners provide hardware platforms or key software products that are essential to the sale and deployment of PitBull technology.
-
Technology partners are companies that provide complementary security products or other e-business technologies that, when positioned with PitBull, contribute towards a complete e-business solution. Technology partners will benefit from joint marketing, promotion, and public relations activities.
-
Consulting partners are consulting firms that do not wish to resell PitBull solutions, but are in a position to recommend PitBull products or provide professional services to their customers that are using PitBull technology.
