Argus wins "Most Innovative Security Software Product" Award

At The Security Network’s 4th Annual Security Summit held in San Diego June 6 and 7, Argus Systems Group was awarded First Place for the ―Most Innovative Security Product in the Software Security Division. A panel of distinguished and very knowledge-able judges evaluated all the software security products represented at the event. Argus’s PitBull secure operating system products came out on top. The other candidates represented an impressive group of products.

Argus Systems Group Announces PitBull LX 2.0 for AIX 5.3 Comprehensive and Simplified Security for pSeries Argus Systems Group today announced the release of PitBull LX 2.0 for AIX 5.3. PitBull LX is built on the award-winning PitBull Domain Based Access Control (DBAC) technology and offers users the ability to defend AIX systems at their core. PitBull LX greatly simplifies system configuration and security policy implementation, and it protects against system attacks that have not yet been identified (zero day attacks). PitBull LX does not require the use of signatures, behavior patterns, or suspected anomalies to protect the system.

Solaris 8 PitBull LX Release 1.1.1 Supplemental Release

January 26, 2006 Savoy, Illinois

A new installation CDROM is immediately available to simplify and speed up the initial installation LX procedure. An iso image is available for download. The new LX installation program will automatically install any subsequent LX patches that have been downed from our website. This update will occur transparently to the user during the initial installation procedure and can be performed either from the CDROM or via Jumpstart. This CD includes the recommended and security clusters as of November 1, 2004.

Argus Systems Group Announces a Highly Secure Add-on for AIX 5.3

Users can now have MultiLevel Security (MLS) in an AIX system. PitBull is built on proven security technology and offers users the ability to protect AIX systems at the core of the system, from within the kernel. A domestic version is available with Trusted Open Secure Shell (topenssh). An international version is available without ssh.
