PitBull Foundation is an add-on product that converts the operating system to a trusted operating system (TOS). PitBull Foundation Suite is a set of utilities to simplify installation as well as enhance operational efficiency.

At The Security Network’s 4th Annual Security Summit held in San Diego June 6 and 7, Argus Systems Group was awarded First Place for the Most Innovative Security Product in the Software Security Division. Argus Systems Group announced today the release of PitBull Foundation for Solaris 10. This product converts Solaris 10 into a trusted operating system designed to meet LSPP criteria at EAL 4+.

Today Argus announced that its PitBull® Foundation Version 5.0 running on AIX 5L™ Version 5.3 for IBM’s System p™ servers has received Common Criteria certification for compliance with the Labeled Security Protection Profile (LSPP) at Evaluation Assurance Level 4 augmented (EAL4+).
